Peter Max Perspective Initials

In between snow days, snow delays, and Monday holidays, sixth graders created some sun in the art studio.... just what our school hallways needed!!!
Students learned how to draw their name in one point perspective as a focal point to a bright sunrise landscape.  They used colored pencil values to create depth and added silhouettes for contrast. We were inspired by the artist Peter Max's graphic designs as well as 1960's era music.   Thanks to Mrs. Knight's Smartest Artists for the idea!
